Germany: Koblenz

Koblenz is situated in Rhineland, more precisely in Rhineland-Palatinate (in German: Rheinland-Pfalz). It's one of the most beautiful old towns in Germany and well worth a visit.

There are a lot of monuments, historical buildings and of course the Rhine promenade. There are several places where you can board a boat and take a trip on the Rhine. When my good friend Rosie and I visited Koblenz we took two boat tours. One was an one hour trip and the other one was a seven hour tour, where we also saw the statue of the Loreley (more information and pictures will follow later).

Here are some pictures (courtesy of remydoodle) of Koblenz:

This is the view from our hotel room. Nice, isn't it?

That's the row with hotels at the Rhine promenade:

This is the fountain "Historiensäule". The sculpture tells the whole history of Koblenz (2000 years!) and is a great place to visit and look.

That's it for today, have a great weekend!
