Wednesday Briefs: "Yes, sir."
Welcome to Wednesday
Briefs, where authors post free fiction of 1000 words or less each
week. This is a special flash because I used the characters of Hunter
and Adrian from “Hunter's Hunt”. This is the picture prompt that
inspired me:
“Yes, sir”
Over
the course of the last year,
Hunter and Adrian had established their relationship and become
almost inseparable. Adrian's brothers still teased him about it,
while they also kept a close eye out for their baby brother. No one
knew about the way they ticked, and that was fine with both of them.
How they loved, or how they were with each other was private, period.
Hunter
rubbed himself dry after his shower, inspecting himself. Same guy
with the heavily muscled chest and arms, except his belly seemed to
be rapidly softening. Chucking the towel aside, he stepped out of the
bathroom, clouded in thick, moist tendrils and nothing else.
Adrian
was standing in a corner, his hands laced on top of his head, jeans
down to his knees. He fidgeted on the spot, huffed a little—most
likely to attract Hunter's attention—and said, “You—”
“Quiet.”
Hunter didn't raise his voice. He never had to, not with Adrian.
In
the beginning he'd believed Adrian got off on spankings. A few months
into their relationship, he realized Adrian sometimes wanted to be
spanked to get rid of tension and stress. Nowadays, he knew he had a
brat on his hands. Not one of those screaming and bitching ones, but
a quiet one who could talk himself into a state and act out. Whenever
Adrian hit rock bottom, he took his bike and drove around, in the
surrounding forests or on forlorn side roads. Of course, he only rode
his bike in the dark, without using a light, and numerous times
Hunter had found him with bruises, scratches, and what-not.
Taking
a deep breath and unclenching his hands, he stomped toward his
dresser, where he yanked out a pair of briefs and sweatpants. After
donning them, he ran a hand over his hair, then sat on the edge of
the bed. Why couldn't Adrian just throw things, stamp his feet, or
yell? His disappearing act always put the fear of God into Hunter.
“Adrian,”
he said softly.
There
was an audible gulp, and then Adrian turned around, slowly. He was
shivering, which could be because of his partly undressed state, but
probably was due to his nerves getting the better of him.
“Hunter,
I—”
“No,”
Hunter cut him off. “I don't want to hear another excuse. Put your
hands down, get out of those jeans and over here.”
Adrian's
Adam's apple bobbed quickly up and down. He sucked in his lower lip,
causing his dimples to deepen even further. He cast Hunter a pleading
look from his dark blue eyes, but when Hunter shook his head, he
dropped his gaze and struggled out of his jeans and underwear.
“What
did I tell you the last time you drove your bike in the dark?
Especially on a road notoriously known for drunk drivers and
accidents?” Hunter took Adrian's hand when he came within reach.
“You'd make
sure I wouldn't do it again,” Adrian said without hesitation.
Hunter helped
him get over his lap, pushing his shirttail up to expose Adrian's
quivering bottom. “I will,” he said. “I'm confiscating your
bike.”
“What?”
Adrian jerked up on Hunter's lap. “You can't do that!”
“What's our
first house rule, Adrian?”
Adrian
growled something Hunter didn't understand. It was probably for the
best. He fought against a smile when he said, “Our first house rule
is that I tell you what to do and you say 'Yes, sir.' It's easy,
really. I certainly can't remember having told you to ride your bike
in the dark on that road, or somewhere in the wilderness, and you
know that. I'll make sure next time you feel like flying apart that
it's less painful to come to me and talk.”
He
didn't lecture further. Instead, Hunter brought his palm down on
Adrian's butt with a ringing slap. Adrian yelped and lurched forward.
Hunter tightened his grip on Adrian's hip, then smacked Adrian's ass,
covering each inch of skin until it reddened. After the first dozen
swats, Adrian's voice rose in volume, and he kicked his legs.
“Hunter!
Please, I won't do it again! I'm sorry! This is enough, I get it!”
Adrian wheezed out between gasps.
“I
decide when it's enough.”
This
wasn't a play spanking; this was a punishment, one they'd agreed on
months ago. Hunter intended to convince Adrian he meant what he said.
He rained slaps on Adrian's bottom, concentrated for a while on
Adrian's sit spot before he ventured to the lower slopes of Adrian's
buttocks. Adrian's voice cracked, and a sob burst free. He flopped
over Hunter's lap, crying freely, as Hunter kept slapping his hand
down in a steady rhythm.
After
another minute, he stopped the spanking and rubbed his hand along
Adrian's spine, cataloging the various blooming bruises Adrian
carried away from tonight's fall with his bike. When Adrian's sobs
changed into hiccups, he helped Adrian straighten up. Only seconds
later, Adrian climbed on his lap, hissing as his butt came into
contact with Hunter's solid thighs.
“ 'm
sorry,” Adrian said unsteadily. “You'd think I'd catch on
eventually, but....”
“But
you like to test the boundaries from time to time,” Hunter said in
a mild tone. Adrian's wince told him he got it right. “Yes, I know
you're not that
keen on riding your bike, and that it's a test.”
“My butt
hurts,” Adrian said, sounding small.
Hunter
wiped the tears from Adrian's face, then cupped it in his hands, and
pressed a gentle kiss on his lips. “Who sets the rules in our
home?”
“You do,”
Adrian sighed. He leaned against Hunter, all tension drained out of
him. A moment later, he added, “Sir.”
Hunter
wrapped his arms tightly around Adrian's slender frame. “Ready to
talk to me now?”
Adrian nodded
and started to talk.

Wednesday Briefs: Hope #47 (last chapter!)
Welcome to
Wednesday Briefs, where authors post free fiction of 1000 words or
less each week. I used:
"I never dreamed this would happen!"
Hope #47
Shane
pressed the tip of his cock against the rim of my hole,
and my eyes opened wide. This was impossible! How did the guys in the
porn videos do it? I was already so full with Silvion's erection, how
was Shane supposed to fit in there?
Despite
my whirling, and admittedly panicking thoughts, a surge of heat
rushed through me. I wanted this, wanted to know what it felt like to
be taken by two men at once. Shane nipped at my earlobe, causing me
to gasp, and at the same time pushed forward.
I
yelled at the intrusion, my hole spasming around the two cocks.
Silvion groaned, a deep rumble that reverberated through my chest. He
clenched his hands in my ass cheeks and parted them further.
Shivering, I tried to hold still, to adjust to them, but instead I
swayed slightly back and forth, not sure whether I wanted to get away
from them or impale myself on their cocks.
Shane's
heavy breathing gusted over my sweaty back, setting off another round
of shivers. He had an almost bruising grip on my hips as he pushed
forward. The unbearable fullness and feeling of 'oh shit, that's too
much' waned when Silvion shifted ever so slightly, allowing his
cockhead to brush against my prostate with every tiny movement.
Pleasure so bright and encompassing flowed into me that I opened my
mouth in a long-drawn moan.
“Feels
good, sweetheart?” Shane asked.
“Feels like
too much,” I replied.
“God, it's
so tight,” he groaned.
I
cracked a laugh. “Well, you're both stuffed into me. It's bound to
be a bit tight.”
Silvion
dropped one of his hands, and a moment later, flesh connected with
flesh. Shane jerked forward with a yelp, and I couldn't help but
scream when they pegged my gland simultaneously.
“Here we
go,” Silvion said, his voice dripping with smugness.
Beads
of sweat trickled down my back, and my arms started to tremble from
the onslaught of sensations. I whispered, “I never dreamed this
would happen.”
“Come
here, baby,” Silvion said. He wrapped his arms around me and
crushed me onto his chest. It was just as well, since my arms
wouldn't hold me up for long anyway. “Let us take care of you.”
I
wasn't sure what he meant by his statement. After all, I was tethered
to his chest with not much leeway. I could only wiggle my ass, or
shift my legs a bit, but that was it. Silvion pulled up his legs,
planted his big feet firmly into the mattress and rocked back and
forth, his cock rubbing my channel and pulling needy moans from me.
“This is so
hot,” Shane gasped out.
I
felt him move behind me, then his hips snapped forward. I hung on for
the ride, unable to form words or have any coherent thought at all. I
was reduced to moans and whimpers as they drilled into me, took
possession of my body in a way no one ever had. Scorching heat shot
through me when Shane pistoned in and out, his grunts increasing in
volume, the sounds of his balls slapping against my flesh
intoxicating me.
The
scent of sex and sweat wafted around us, and my whole world shrank to
that small part of my body that connected the three of us. Silvion's
cock pulsed suddenly, and with a guttural groan he came inside me,
flooding my channel with his seed. Shane went completely still, and
seconds later he shot his load as well. It was all too much. I
climaxed, howling my release, as waves and waves of ecstasy crashed
over me.
For
a while only harsh pants were audible, then Shane gulped and pulled
out of me. Silvion did the same a moment later, and I shuddered at
the emptiness. Semen dribbled out of my hole, and along my crack, but
I didn't care.
Silvion
and Shane rolled onto their sides, with me sandwiched between them. I
could get used to these two curled around me. Exhaustion took its
toll on me, and my eyes felt heavy. Still, I blurted, “I want to do
that again.”
Shane
laughed out loud, while Silvion chuckled. After trailing a series of
kisses onto my shoulders, Shane said, “We created a monster.”
“It's a
good kind of monster. I'll be happy to oblige.”
Shane's voice
took on a rough edge. “I'll be more than happy to oblige as well.
As many times as you want, Gil.”
Smiling, I
drifted off to sleep.
Okay, folks, this time there will be no to be
continued. The story clocks in at 32k
so far and I'll end it here. Of course I know there's more I need to
address but for now I want to let it rest. Thanks to everyone who
followed Gil's story!

Goddess Fish Promotions: The Shed by Dianne Hartsock (REVIEW)
The
Shed
by
Dianne Hartsock
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
As
a Certified Mental Health Therapist, Scott Reid has his share of
interesting experiences, though nothing compares with the time he
spends with the psychic, Alex Elson. Plagued by terrifying images and
dreams, Alex turns to Doctor Reid in the hopes of learning to control
his visions. Instead, Scott is pulled into Alex’s world, where
dreams and reality mix and nightmares are real.
Two
young men, brothers, have been abducted from the lake outside of
Oakton without a trace of who took them. That is, until Alex receives
a silver pocket watch in the mail belonging to the elder brother, a
taunt from the kidnapper for Alex to come find them. Alex’s visions
turn at once into nightmares. Images flash in his mind of an
abandoned well and a terrified, lonely boy slowly dying at the
bottom. The shed looms close by, holding a horrifying secret, a dark
place Alex’s frightened mind refuses to go.
With
the help of Scott Reid, Alex endeavors to control his visions and
find the brutalized victims before death claims them. But the watch
is ticking away and time’s running out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt:
“Hey
Alex…” Justin’s voice trailed off, and he put the coffee pot on
the warmer and went over to him when the man didn’t respond. Scott
joined them, leaving his computer on the table as he passed. Alex’s
eyes were wide, unfocused as he stared out the window. His breath
came quickly and sweat beaded his forehead.
“What
do you see?” Scott asked, voice mild, placid.
“It’s
hot here. Grass is dry.” Alex’s whispered words sent a shiver
through Scott. He sounded…detached. “The forest is dark across
the way. Crows circle above the trees.”
“Alex,
where are you right now?” Scott made the question a demand.
A
shudder ran Alex’s lean frame. “I’m in your office, Dr. Reid. I
see the garden through the window. But I’m also here, in this empty
field. Talk to me! I want to come away from here.”
Scott
touched his hand. “Come home, Alex.”
“It’s
hard. Something’s drawing me to the forest. God! I don’t want to
go in there.”
“Jane
would want you to come home,” Scott said firmly, using the ace up
his sleeve. For a second he didn’t think even the deep love Alex
had for his wife could draw
him
back, but then he blinked his eyes into focus, and gave Scott a
slight smile.
“Thank
you. That’s a terrible place.”
“Is it
a real place, do you think?”
Alex’s
expression turned bleak. “Yes,” he whispered.

REVIEW
The
blurb for The Shed
intrigued me, and I can tell you right away that I loved the book! It
was creepy in parts, but so very lovely in others.
The
Shed is told from various POV's—mostly
from Alex, the young man with visions, and his therapist Scott Reid.
We're also privy to other people's emotions, the harsh reality and
abuse they suffer throughout the story when Alex has one of his
visions.
The
Shed is a thriller with a light
paranormal touch and heavy on the psychological aspect, which I
really enjoyed. Lots of interesting characters, lovely relationships,
and lots of suspense had me glued to the book.
There's
also a light m/m romance subplot since Scott Reid falls in love with
Art Peters, another friend of Alex. While the guys fell in love
almost instantly, that fact didn't detract from my enjoyment. I also
loved the relationship between Alex and his wife Jane, especially the
way she grounded him, kept him sane during and/or after a vision.
I'd
recommend The Shed
to anyone who loves a good thriller and lots of memorable characters.
I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Strongly recommended!

Anne Barwell: Winter Duet
Choosing
Titles
Thanks,
Chris, for hosting me today (You're very welcome, Anne!)
One
of the first things on my ‘to do’ list with a new story is to
find a title for it. I can’t write without a title, even if it’s
a working title that changes later. It’s like the story isn’t
real until it’s named. Legends say that names have power so
perhaps that’s the reason? I’m not sure.
Some
stories turn up with titles; others make me work for them. Winter
Duet,
my new release with Dreamspinner Press, was one of the latter.
I
blame it on the fact it’s a middle book. The first in the Echoes
series—Shadowboxing—turned
up with its name, as did the third book, Comes
a Horseman.
So did the series name.
So
here I was with a book plotted out and no name for it. Because the
series is really one story split into three rather than a series
where each story just takes place in a particular universe, I had to
plan out the whole series, rather than just book by book.
Foreshadowing is important, after all, and I had to set things up so
stuff that happens in book 2 and 3 doesn’t come out of left field.
I
knew I wanted ‘winter’ in the title somewhere, because of the
setting, and the other part of the title needed to have something to
do with music, as that plays a part in the story too. I did toy with
‘Shades of Winter’ as one choice, but then a certain vampire came
along and Shades
of Sepia
worked so well for his and Ben’s story that I couldn’t use it for
this one. Even so, ‘Shades of Winter’ wasn’t quite right for
the 2nd
part of Kit and Michel’s story. I’m one of those people who knows
it’s right when I see it, which isn’t always very helpful when
trying to decide on a title.
Finally,
I went back to the music idea, and thought more about the plot. I
like titles to have something to do with the point of the book if I
can. Eureka! ‘Duet’ came to mind. Kristopher (Kit) and Michel
are both musicians and Michel promises Kit a duet in
Shadowboxing—it’s
still a promise he intends to keep. Although their story is at the
heart of the plot, it’s not just about them, but also Matt, Ken and
Liang, and the two storylines also form a duet of sorts.
And
so the title Winter
Duet
was born.

Echoes
book 2 - Sequel to Shadowboxing
Germany
1944
With
Kristopher finally fit enough to travel, he and Michel leave the
security of their safe house and continue their journey across
Germany toward Switzerland. Caught in a series of Allied bombings,
they stop to help civilians and narrowly escape capture by German
forces.
While
investigating a downed aircraft in the Black Forest, the two men
discover an injured RAF pilot. After they are separated, Kristopher
and the pilot are discovered by a German officer who claims he is not
who he appears to be. Determined to find Michel again, Kristopher has
to trust the stranger and hope he is not connected to those searching
for him and the information he carries. Meanwhile Michel is
intercepted by one of the Allied soldiers he met in Berlin. His help
is needed to save one of their own.
Time
quickly runs out. Loyalties are tested and betrayed as the Gestapo
closes in. Michel can only hope that they can reach safety before
information is revealed that could compromise not only his and
Kristopher’s lives, but those of the remaining members of their
team—if it is not already too late.
~~~~~~~~~~
Excerpt:
“Oh.”
Kristopher paused, his spoon halfway to his mouth. “I’m sorry. I
never thought. I didn’t mean to….” The words trailed off.
Telling them he hadn’t meant to embarrass them would only serve to
do just that.
“I’d
never heard the poems before either,” Michel said. He glanced
toward the door, as though suddenly nervous.
“That’s
the thing with wars,” Karolina said. “They draw all sorts of
different people together, don’t they? It doesn’t matter who you
are. Out there on the battlefield everyone’s the same, aren’t
they?”
“Yes,
they are.” Kristopher swallowed a mouthful of beans while he
collected his thoughts. “I was a musician,” he said at last. “It
was a long time ago. Sometimes it feels as though it was in another
lifetime. I’ve been trying to work out why the code phrase sounded
so familiar. I’m sorry. I guess I should have kept it to myself.”
“Nonsense,”
Georg said briskly. “Don’t apologize for having a good education,
and if it gives you some distraction to get through this terrible
time, you should use it.” Karolina placed a hand on his shoulder.
He reached up and placed his hand over hers. A sad look crossed her
face, and she suddenly appeared a lot older.
Kristopher
bit his lip. He lowered his gaze and concentrated on eating. He
hadn’t meant to upset either of them. Michel had warned him to keep
any conversation brief and focus on very general topics.
Damn
it. He wasn’t very good at this at all. For a short time he’d
forgotten their situation and been caught up in the moment,
remembering his passion for his music and wanting to share it.
“Paul….”
Michel spoke Kristopher’s assumed name, and he looked up.
“Karolina’s right. This war has drawn people together who
normally wouldn’t have even met. Perhaps we should take it as an
opportunity to learn new things, hmm? We all have something to
offer.”
“Well
said, Gabriel.” Karolina squeezed her husband’s hand. “It’s
been too long since Georg and I had the company of young people. You
said you were a musician, Paul. What instrument did you play?”
“I
play the violin, although I haven’t picked it up in years.”
Kristopher watched the couple, noticing the way in which they took
comfort from each other’s touch. He wanted so badly to be able to
just lean over and take Michel’s hand in his and be open in front
of others as to how they felt about each other. During the months
spent in the attic at St. Gertrud’s, they’d still had to be
careful, but they’d been left alone for much of the time. He hadn’t
realized just how difficult having to hide their relationship was
going to be.
“We’re
not that young,”
Michel said when Kristopher lapsed into silence again. He’d told
Kristopher he’d turned thirty on his last birthday. Kristopher was
almost a year younger and had wondered at the time where both of them
would be by his next birthday, which was only a few months away.
Georg
chuckled. “You’re about the same age as our boy, so to us, that
makes you young.” He got out of his chair. “I’m going to make
some tea. Do you want some? Here, Karolina, have my chair. You’re
not getting any younger.”
“My
husband, he thinks he’s funny,” Karolina said. She gave him a
light peck on the cheek and went to clip his ear again, but he ducked
out of the way and headed toward the kitchen.
“He’s
only offering me his chair
to keep me away from my knitting. He knows full well I’ll poke him
with one of my needles if he gives me too much cheek.”
“How
long have you been married?” Michel asked. He seemed amused by
their banter. Kristopher wondered if it reminded him of his parents.
“Since
just before the last war.” Karolina picked up the cloth bag
Kristopher had noticed earlier and settled into the other armchair.
She opened the bag and took out yarn and what appeared to be a large
knitted square on needles. “We’d met the year before, and I
waited for him to come home to me and our newborn son. I didn’t
allow myself to think he might not. Tell me, do you have someone
waiting for you?”
Kristopher
glanced at Michel. Karolina wasn’t exactly following what he’d
been told about keeping to safe subjects either.
“I
have someone, yes,” Michel said finally. “I want nothing more
than this war to finish so we can have a life together, but sometimes
I doubt that will ever happen.”
“It
will,” Kristopher said firmly. He placed his bowl on his knee,
feeling the warmth of it through his trousers. “When you love
someone, you wait for however long it takes.”
Book Excerpt:
"Orin,
I won't." Thomas stood a bit straighter and his eyes lost the
sad, pleading shine. "I won't hurt you again."
"You
can't promise that. Things happen." Orin watched as his words
dragged Thomas back from the brink of hope.
"If
you truly believe that, then there's nothing I can do. You have to
believe there's a chance or else I can't prove it."
"That's
not what I'm telling you." He locked his gaze on Thomas's. "If
I say yes, I'll have to take down the walls I surrounded my heart
with to keep it safe. Once it's gone, I won't be able bring it back
if I get hurt. Not now.
"So
what I'm saying is, think about what you’re asking me to risk. If
you really love me, ask yourself if are you
willing to risk what will happen to me if you can't keep your
promise."
He
knew how unfair he'd been, but self-preservation had been a skill
he'd honed over the past fifteen years. He needed Thomas to know just
how serious the repercussion could be for his actions.
"Orin,
I . . . I . . . how . . .?" Their faces were inches apart, and
Thomas moved in for another kiss.
This
felt different than the first—less urgent, but no less intense.
Orin trembled at the leap he was about to take. When they stepped
back, Thomas rubbed his thumb across Orin's cheek.
"I
do love you, Orin. More than I can say. So much, that I'm not willing
to risk what will happen if I fail you again. I don't have that
right."
Thomas's
lips quivered and the tears welled at the bottom of his eyes. He
kissed Orin's forehead gently.
"Good-bye,
Orin. Please be happy." Without looking back, Thomas walked to
the front door, opened it, and walked away.
"Seizing It" and "Too Good to be True?" will be translated into German!
Yes, it's true! Cursed Verlag is going to translate Seizing It and the sequel Too Good to be True? into German. They'll publish both titles in 2015. I'm so very excited about this! Another plus is that my parents will be able to read two more of my books. :)
Blurb
Veterinary receptionist Kit Hall doesn’t get close to people, and for good reasons: his epilepsy makes him feel like a freak, and his ex was an abusive jerk. But that doesn’t always deter people from wanting to get close to Kit. When a Good Samaritan saves him from his wannabe boyfriend in a parking lot, he doesn’t expect to find the guy so attractive. He definitely doesn’t expect his savior to turn out to be his new boss.
Dale Miller, veterinarian and old-fashioned guy, sees right through Kit’s prickly facade. He likes what he sees, but convincing Kit to give a relationship a shot isn’t going to be a walk in the park. Of course, for Kit, resisting Dale isn’t going to be easy either.
Blurb
Sequel to Seizing It
Three months after Kit falls in love with Dale, his epilepsy takes a turn for the worse and his nightmares and flashbacks about his abusive ex intensify. His work at the veterinary clinic and as a freelance translator only add to the stress. As Kit’s life flies out of his control, his last tether of sanity frays as Dale grows frustrated with Kit’s stubborn independence.
Dale wants to be Kit’s rock—to step in to help—but the walls Kit builds may be too hard to break through.
"Is
it just me or..."
Hope #46
Had
I really said that aloud? Oh. My. God. What if they wanted to try,
and I couldn't go through with it? Shane had always filled me up
pretty good. Not that I couldn't have taken more. He had a beautiful
cock, long and smooth, but it wasn't thick. I eyed Silvion's heavy
dick that rested on my thigh. Now that was a cock that should fill me
up to the brim. How would there be any space for Shane?
“Relax,
baby,” Silvion murmured. “We'll do whatever makes you feel good.”
“I
want to try,” I heard myself say. Was that even my voice? It
sounded faint, but hungry at the same time.
“Is
it just me, or did it get hot in here?” Shane sounded breathless.
I laughed
because what else was there to do? It was hot, suffocatingly hot,
really.
Silvion
pushed the blanket aside, leaving all of us exposed to the air that
raised goose bumps on my skin. Or maybe that was because of Silvion
and Shane's hands exploring my body, roaming along and sending
tingles through my entire being. I closed my eyes and concentrated on
feeling, just feeling.
Shane
sucked my cock into his mouth again, twirled his tongue around my
cockhead and pressed his wicked tongue into my slit. With his hands,
he fondled my balls and rubbed along my perineum, causing me to leak
precome into his mouth.
Somehow
they'd manhandled me onto my side. Shane lay in front of me, playing
with my cock and balls and driving me insane. Silvion slid up behind
me, his large frame curling around me. I leaned back against his
chest and opened my mouth, inviting him in. He lost no time and
licked any part of my mouth he could reach. I melted against him,
sometimes mewling and clutching Shane's hair to show him how much I
loved what he was doing.
Silvion slid
one hand to my buttocks, spread them open and nudged his thick cock
against my entrance. My belly clenched in anticipation when a tiny
voice piped up inside me. How could I be so hot for Silvion when a
few days ago I was ready to throw my life away because I couldn't get
Shane back?
As
if he could read my mind, Shane unlocked his lips from my swollen
member and glanced up at me through his long lashes. “Gil, no
guilt-trip. I love you, and it's fine for you to want us both.”
“It's not
weird?” I whispered back.
“You'll
love it when he breaches you, buries himself balls-deep into you—”
Silvion and I
groaned. I grabbed the base of my cock and squeezed hard to prevent
myself from coming.
“Enough
talking already,” Silvion grumbled, his breath gusting along my
neck.
He
rolled onto his back, then lifted me onto his body. I stretched out
on his broadly-muscled frame, shivering at the power underneath me.
Shane helped me position myself on all fours before he massaged my
buttocks. A moment later he pressed kisses on my fluttering hole,
wetting it thoroughly.
His tongue
made way for Silvion's thick fingers, covered in lube or whatever
gooey stuff. When they both deemed me ready, Shane steadied my hips
and Silvion pushed into me in one excruciatingly slow stroke. My eyes
widened as he slid deeper and deeper into me, stretching me.
“Full,” I
gasped when he was fully sheathed inside me.
Silvion
grinned and rocked his hips back and forth, helping me to adjust to
his girth. Sometimes he brushed over my prostate, which forced me to
whimper and writhe on top of him. Shane kissed me, pinched my
nipples, stroked my hair, did everything he knew I liked. Then he
slid behind me and rubbed his cockhead against my hole. I squeezed
around Silvion, causing him to let go of a guttural moan.
“Ready to
try, sweetheart?” Shane asked.
My
heart hammered against my ribs, and I wasn't at all sure if I wanted
to try, but I heard myself clearly say, “Yes.”
Innocent civilians are caught in the crossfire and although the THIRDS round up more and more members of the Order in the hopes of keeping the volatile group from reorganizing, the members of the Coalition continue to escape and wreak havoc in the name of vigilante justice.
Worse yet, someone inside the THIRDS has been feeding the Coalition information. It’s up to Destructive Delta to draw out the mole and put an end to the war before anyone else gets hurt. There’s more going on than Dex and Sloane originally believed, and their fiery partnership is put to the test. Excerpt
Dex had never been so eager to start his daily training session. Down in Sparta, he changed in the male locker room, swapping his uniform for his black Led Zeppelin T-shirt, loose jogging pants, and sneakers. He grabbed his boxing gloves from his locker and slammed it shut.
The bays were pretty busy at this time of day, but there was plenty of free boxing equipment in the boxing bays. He chose one of the emptier ones, and as he got ready, all he could think about was Sloane. The moment Dex had seen his face, he’d known. Sloane was going to run. I’m so stupid. He finished wrapping his hands and made straight for the punching bag.
After some quick stretches and warm ups, he started pummeling the red leather bag, hoping to release some of his frustration, but the more he punched the bag, the angrier he became. He’d told himself not to get so close. His head had known far longer than his heart what would happen, tried to warn him. But Dex hadn’t listened. He’d been a lovesick idiot, trailing after Sloane, getting on his knees, content to let Sloane bleed him. Maybe a part of Dex enjoyed it. Enjoyed being stripped, his vulnerability exposed. Why else would he continue to put himself through this? Why did he keep waiting? Because he’d promised Sloane he would. And what had Sloane promised in return? Dex remembered the words as if they’d been said yesterday. I can’t make any promises. Sloane had made it clear. Dex had no one to blame for his heartache but himself.
“Well isn’t that cute.”
Dex froze. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply. Someone up there was conspiring against him. Was this a test to see how much he could take before he lost his shit? Any other day, Dex would have walked away. But not today. He turned and faced Ash who was dressed similarly in a T-shirt and loose jogging pants. Letty was beside him looking worried.
“Come on. You and me,” Dex said through his teeth.
Ash let out a laugh. “Are you fucking kidding?”
“Does it look like I’m kidding?”
“Sloane wouldn’t be happy about that.”
“Well Sloane’s not fucking here, is he?” Dex snapped. He expected a smart-ass remark, but instead Ash seemed to be thinking it over so he pushed on. “You’ve wanted this since I joined. Now’s your chance. No one here’s going to stop you. You want to beat the shit out of me, now’s your fucking chance.”
“Okay.”
Dex nodded and swiped his boxing gloves off the side of the mat. He held them out to Letty. “Help me out here.”
Letty took one glove from him and helped secure the strap before taking the next one. “Dex, are you sure you want to do this? You know he won’t hold back.”
“I’m counting on it.”
Letty cursed under her breath, saying something in Spanish Dex didn’t understand. He tapped his hip where his pocket was, and Letty reached in. She pulled out the small box containing his mouth guard and opened it, looking as if she was going to try again to convince him not to do this, but instead, she held the mouth guard up to him. He leaned over and closed his mouth around the rubbery piece. He could tell she wasn’t happy, but he needed this.
He hopped on his toes, rolled his shoulders, and waited while Letty helped Ash with his gloves and mouth guard. As soon as Ash was ready, they both stepped onto one of the larger empty blue mats. Looking at Ash, all the anger came flooding back, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t stop thinking about Sloane.
You really thought he wouldn’t run? He’ll always run. From you.
“Come on,” Dex said around his mouthpiece.
Ash shook his head, but there was no way Dex was letting him back out now.
“Come on!”
Ash gave him exactly what he asked for. The first punch landed across Dex’s jaw and sent him reeling. He fell hard against the mat, his face in a world of pain and stars in his eyes. How the hell Dex hadn’t been knocked out by that one hit was beyond him. Fuck. That hurt. Okay, maybe this wasn’t your brightest idea.
“That all you got, Daley? One hit? That’s pretty fucking pathetic.”
Bastard. Dex pushed himself to his feet and shook himself off. Would Sloane come back this time? He had to. They worked together. What if that’s all he came back for? You fucked up. The first guy you could see yourself spending your life with, and you fuck it up within months. A new record. Ash grinned at him, and Dex lost it.
He came at Ash with everything he had, mindful of Ash’s fierce hooks. He maneuvered around him, ducking under hooks and jumping out of the way when Ash swiped at him. Ash threw both arms out to grab him, and Dex dropped down to the mat and rolled. He popped back up and took a swing, catching Ash on his shoulder. Then Dex remembered what Ash’s proficiency was. Close Quarter Combat. The guy had been toying with him. Letting him land blows, waiting for Dex to realize the mistake he’d made.
